The world was once filled with magic, which allowed the once peaceful races to evolve and adapt to live on a planet that loved them. Then humans accidentally went mad with inventive power and sponged up all of the magic into their heads. Everyone else had to go into hiding when humans decided they would be THE ONLY ONES, until The Memory Guardian sealed humans' memories of those they were trying to kill.

In the times that have followed, the hidden races discovered that magic still existed inside of humans. The only way to get it back was through "love links:" A soul deep connection found in love. They all began flinging 'candidates' at powerful humans, hoping to form love links. Instead, creating crazy harem scenarios.

Yoshie is one such candidate. She has been flung at many'a human in her attempt to steal magic-- but more importantly, on her quest to grow vegetables. Her brand of demon lives underground and eats rocks, so the sunshine life on the surface is very exciting to her. All of that excitement still doesn't make up for her long string of failures.

In her most recent attempt, Yoshie was assigned to "Felicity..." An asexual-aromantic girl who doesn't form the type of love links that Yoshie is trained to expect. She was originally only competing with the angels Charlyt and Key, but they've since added an angel boy named Lione to their family.
